We create immersive audio and AR walks that give a new voice to the city and transform the way in which we experience the city
Our story in a few word
It all began between 2012 and 2020, when our founder, Evgeny Niva, discovered Playback Theatre, meditation, mindful walking, dance therapy, authentic movement, and psychology. Driven by a lifelong passion for music, travel, and nature, he gradually began weaving connections between art, introspection, and personal transformation — a foundation that would later inspire the creation of CityWhispers.
2024
After years of creative exploration, academic research, and entrepreneurial experience, all these paths converged into one clear idea: CityWhispers. The project was born from the ambition to transform urban exploration through thoughtful storytelling, interpretive design, and an immersive sound universe — inviting everyone to feel the city differently, with emotion and poetry.
July 2025
The project was validated by a committee of experts and received official recognition as an innovative company in culture tech. This milestone confirmed the value of the concept and opened the door to new opportunities for growth and funding.
April 2025
The project took a decisive step forward by joining the Plaine Images incubator (Euracreative). This ecosystem dedicated to the creative and cultural industries provides an inspiring environment, resources, and partnerships to turn intuition into a solid entrepreneurial venture.
August 2025
Launch of the first full walk in Lille, in the heart of the city. The public discovered an original experience combining voice, music, and ambient sound, unfolding step by step through the streets. It marked the first public realization of the CityWhispers vision.
June 2025
The first months of incubation were dedicated to creating a prototype of an immersive walk on the Plaine Images campus. This testing ground made it possible to experiment with narration, geolocation, and sound design, laying the concrete foundations of the CityWhispers experience.
September 2025
Heading toward expansion: two new walks in Lille and three in Paris are currently in development. The goal is clear — to offer a diverse catalogue of urban experiences and lay the foundations for a scalable platform on a national, and later international, level.
