Need help using the app?
1. How to start a walk
Open the app, select a city and choose one of the available walks.
Once downloaded, connect your headphones, press Start, and simply begin walking — the sounds and narration will be triggered automatically as you move through the city.
2. Do I need an internet connection?
You can download each walk in advance and use it offline.
An internet connection is only required for the initial download.
3. What do I need for the best experience?
- Use good headphones or earphones.
- Allow the app to access your location — this is how it knows when to play each audio scene.
- Walk at your own pace and stay aware of your surroundings.
4. Why does the app ask for location access?
CityWhispers uses your approximate GPS position only to trigger audio content relevant to where you are.
Your location is never stored or shared with anyone.
5. Can I listen to a walk more than once?
Yes. Once downloaded, you can replay it anytime, even offline.
